Who is Kerstdorpfan.nl

My name is Ilonka, I am the person behind Kerstdorpfan.nl.

My webshop originated from a hobby that got out of hand; building my own Christmas village. With a lot of passion I have collected my own room-filling Christmas village and I have expanded my own collection each time by purchasing complete Christmas villages.

I made my first purchases through the Dutch website 'Marktplaats'. Unfortunately, I was often disappointed because products were not delivered as described. Often packaging were found to be broken or the items were incomplete or damaged. The method of shipping and packaging was often very bad.

Because I got more and more duplicate items in my possession and also felt that selling and shipping the beautiful Christmas village items could be much better, I decided in May 2017 to set up my own webshop.
 

Attention to article descriptions

I pay a lot of attention to the article description; I think it is important that the description and photos of the item correspond with the item you receive. In the article description you will find the condition of the article; new or used, with or without original box, with or without adapter etc. If an article is damaged or incomplete, I always mention this in the description. I think it is very important that you get an honest impression of what you buy from me.
 

Good photography

In 2019 I started using a new photo studio. I can now take even better pictures of the products so that you as a buyer get an even better impression of the condition of the items. I take pictures of all used items on my website. I also take new photos of all houses and table accents that deviate from the original item. For figurines of which I have several pieces in stock, I take 1 photo and there may sometimes be a small deviation from the photo in the webshop upon delivery (for example, not every face of a figurine is painted exactly the same).
 

Largest online store with used and retired items

In mid-2020 I have grown into the largest online store with items that have been used and often also are retired. With great enthusiasm I am always looking for exclusive, rare and retired items.

In the meantime I can also offer a lot of new items, including the items from the Lemax Village Collection and Lemax Spooky Town from 2020.
